April 19th - 23rd

The BSO musicians are doing double-duty again this week. Half of us will be playing with Elvis Costello, and half will be playing a fantastic new childrens' program written by percussionist Brian Prechtl called "Shake,Rattle and Roll." This is a great concert for kids ages 3-12 and their families, featuring dancers from the Baltimore School for the Arts and the BSO percussion section.

Elvis Costello

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Elvis Costello joins the BSO to perform his orchestral work, Il Sogno. The second half includes Watching the Detectives, Almost Blue, God Give Me Strength, and Alison.
