The 31st annual Symphony Decorator’s Show House, presented by the Baltimore Symphony Associates, will be held at historic Long Crandon from April 29 through May 20. Featuring Baltimore’s leading interior and exterior designers, the Show House is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Baltimore Symphony’s education programs. The elegant English/Georgian-style mansion was built for entertaining by W. Wallace Lanahan in 1921 and has been host to celebrated guests including the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The home is located on the Stella Maris property in Timonium. Hours will be: Parking is onsite at the Show House at 2525 Pot Spring Road Enjoy a light lunch and do a little shopping while visiting the Show House! Tickets are $15 in advance and available at the Baltimore Symphony Ticket Office (410) 783-8000, A Preview Party will be held on Friday, April 20 and the Show House will also be available for private tours and parties from April 21-28 before it opens to the public. This year, a stunning display of antique cars from the 1920’s through the 1960’s will be on display at Long Crandon on Saturday, May 5 from 11 am to 4 pm. Members of the Chesapeake Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will be available to answer questions about these beautifully restored cars. Directions to Long Crandon - At all times, please use the Pot Spring Road entrance to the property. Exit I-695 at exit 27 (Dulaney Valley Road North). This will be at the light at Hampton Lane (MD route 146). From the light go north for 3 more lights (about 8/10ths mile) to Pot Spring Road. Turn left and go 2.6 miles to the Stella maris entrance (pass the Mercy Ridge entrance). Turn right and follow the signs to Long Crandon.
