A legacy of enlightening and exciting audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Who or what inspires you?
Nature inspires me as well as people with high levels of integrity and honesty.

If you had to do something other than be a Baltimore Symphony Musician, what would you do for a living?
I’d love to be a Ski patrolman – skiing is another big passion I have.  I’ve been skiing as long as l’ve been playing violin (since I was 4). It’s one of my big passions in life which I have shared with all three of my kids. I have been offered ski patrol jobs in Pennsylvania and Vermont, and hope to retire closer to mountains one day. Where is your favorite get-away spot?
Anywhere with friends, food and drinks. spot doesn’t matter!

Where would people be surprised to find you?
On a mogul slope (skiing); or spear-fishing

What piece of music do you feel like was written for you?
Whatever I am enjoying listening to at any given moment. I love being immersed in music, but especially enjoy any piece of music by Gustav Mahler.

What or who influenced you to be a professional musician?
My mother, she was a singer, as well as my older sister, who is a cellist.

What do you like to do with your ”me time”?
I love to do anything in nature.

How do you give back to our community?
I feel I can be of most value when I inspire through my instrument. Closer to home, I teach my three boys to be the best citizens they can be.
