Jeanne Getz has enjoyed a varied musical career. Performing throughout the country, Jeanne has played with many orchestras including National Symphony Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and at the Tanglewood, Aspen, and Spoleto USA music festivals. She completed a fellowship with the New World Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Prior to joining the BSO, Jeanne served in The U.S. Army Field Band, the Army’s premier touring ensemble. After completing her undergraduate degree with honors from Boston University, she earned a master’s degree in orchestral performance from Manhattan School of Music as a student of the late Jerome Ashby.
